Authentic Tea Experience in Zurich

At Evry, we offer unique Tea Courses in Zurich led by Diana, our certified Tea Sommelier from South Korea, recognised by Korea Tea Institute and Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of China (Taiwan). Diana combines her passion for tea and mindfulness to guide you through the rich world of East Asian tea culture.

The tea classes are offered on a biweekly basis, on Sunday afternoons.

You are welcome to join any session. However, you are encouraged to first join the Tea Fundamentals class before joining others, so that you are equipped with enough background knowledge.

Meet Your
Tea Sommelier

Diana is a trained tea sommelier offering authentic tea experiences in Zurich with expertise in East Asian tea traditions. She studied Korean tea culture, history, ceremony, and tea manufacturing with Master Rim Lee through the Korean Tea Culture Association, is certified as an Advanced Tea Sommelier by Korea Tea Sommelier Institute and Tea Association of Korea. She is also a certified Level 1 Tea Sommelier, nationally recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Taiwan. She has a well-rounded knowledge and expertise in the world of tea, and is passionate about sharing a piece of East Asian culture to the local audience in Zurich.

Tea Courses

  • Delve into the depth and complexity of the world of tea. This foundational class is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge to confidently explore tea on your own and get the most out of our regular tasting sessions.

    What you will learn:

    • The Six Major Types: Understand white, green, yellow, oolong, black, and dark teas, including their unique production processes.

    • History & Culture: Explore the rich background and global heritage surrounding tea.

    • Steeping Techniques: Learn proper brewing methods for home enjoyment.

    • Tasting Basics: Master the fundamentals of tea tasting to recognize and distinguish different flavor profiles and aromas.

    Each session includes a guided tasting of at least 5 types of tea. We highly encourage joining this class before attending our regular tea sessions.

  • Expand your palate and deepen your understanding of tea in these regular, rotating sessions. Each class focuses on specific themes, regions, or seasonal harvests, offering an informative approach to tea history, preparation, and flavour.

    What to expect:

    • Guided Tastings: Sample at least 5 distinct types of tea curated for each session.

    • Flavor Analysis: Practice distinguishing subtle flavour profiles, aromas, and processing styles.

    • Culture & History: Learn the origins, stories, and traditions behind the teas.

    • Brewing & Analysis: Master proper steeping techniques and practice distinguishing subtle flavor profiles.

    You are welcome to join any session. However, we recommend taking the Tea Fundamentals class first to build your foundational background knowledge.

    Offered Biweekly: 14:00–15:30

  • We offer private tea experiences for small groups, companies, and special occasions, tailored to your interests—from traditional tea preparation and guided tastings to tea meditation. Sessions are customisable and can be combined with yoga, meditation, or journaling for a more holistic experience.

    Price: CHF 300 for up to 5 participants (90 minutes) | CHF 45 per additional participant. Contact us to book.
